The coastal Cruise departs from Amble and heads North to Dunstanburgh Castle along the coastline. Featuring sea views of Alnmouth, Boulmer, Craster and Bamburgh. The cruise then turns under the castle cliffs and returns to Amble via Coquet Island.

Trips last around 2.5 hours.

The island is home to many birds and seals. The rare Roseate Tern nests on Coquet Island. The cruises around Coquet Island differ to the Farne Islands in the fact that passengers remain on the boat at all times. This is due the vulnerability of the nests and the uneven surface of the island. RPSB specialists and scientists reside on the island to study the birds.

These times are planned a week in advance. They are dependant on weather and sea conditions. Please Contact Us or the tour operator on the day you wish to sail to confirm the weather and sea conditions.
